Last name is Zierenberg. Said like ZEER-en-burg. Also, if you could find one that fits a nature theme like hunter or Fisher, (but not those) that would be perfect!
Help! Baby boy names to go with strange last name?
Hunter? Fisher? Forrest?
what are you trying to do to this poor kid who already has a complicated last name?!
if you want a nature theme, try something more subtle:
Ash names all have to do with ash trees or "from under the ash tree"...
Ashton
Asher
Ashbe
Ashen
Seasons are somewhat cool for guys:
August
Here are some less common ones that actually sound really cool rather than strange and ugly:
Aspen
Briar
Mace
Oliver (olive leaves)
Reed
Rush
Spruce
Sevine
Thyme
all of those are types of trees, plants, and only natorous things...
you can even try thing that have natorous "meanings" rather than an actual plant:
Brock (means badger field)
Jordan (river that runs down)
Saige
well, good luck and congratulations!

Reply:How about Steele Zierenberg. Not exactly from nature (refined from nature I guess) but I just can't imagine a boy named Steele getting picked on in the playground.
My friend was to use this name if she had a boy but had two girls. I didn't like the name at all but it popped straight into my mind after reading your question. It just seems to fit for some reason. GOOD LUCK.
One more thing, try to imagine your son at different ages then different occupations and how your intended name would suit. Some names are great for a toddler, not so great for a teenager, great for a tradesman, not so great for a doctor/lawyer.....
