Reply:I have a two year old that I named John David. I really didn't know what to name him, or have any great ideas either but I settled on John. It's not the Caden/Aiden/Jaden names that everyone seems to be going with. It's not on the top 25 most popular baby names of 2006.


But it's a strong one, classic, and something that he can hold on to when he's older. I tell people that my baby's name is John and they go "wow, classic, you don't hear that often anymore" or "That's a really strong name, good choice, it's simple." NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD name your baby that but think along those lines....


John, James, Joshua, Joseph, Matthew, Paul, David, Adam....Dig into the family names.
Reply:I have 3 boys, I wanted names that i could shorten, for nicknames, so we picked, Zachary (Zac), Maxwell (Max) and Benjamin (Ben). It comes in handy, especially when writing out a lot of cards and so forth...And also, they aren't that common, so they aren't in a classroom with several other children with the same name.

BUT then again, these are your children and you can do as you please.


How about you name them middle names first and first names middle. That way people dont have a hard time pronouncing them and confusing them yet they are still on the birth certificate because they are meaninful to you.
Reply:Kieran and Andreas are both nice unique names. I'm not so crazy about the middle names, but that is just personal opinion. If they have a special meaning to you then maybe you should listen to your heart and go with your gut feeling.


Also, it may seem silly, but try screaming the names throughout your house. You will probably be doing a lot of this once they're born so this is just a test to see if you like the way they sound. Good Luck!!
